Renee and Andrew’s Adelphi Hotel wedding came together seamlessly on a beautiful sunny day! Their plans bumped from July to August, but even with the slight shift in date, they created an amazing celebration with their closest friends and family. Their ceremony took place at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox church in Albany and if you have not seen a Greek Orthodox ceremony, you are in for a treat! I’ve only seen three and each time I am in awe of how beautiful, detailed and special they are. The ring ceremony, the cup, the crowns, the candles, walking around the alter, the heavy inclusion of the best man and matron of honor. They’re all such beautiful ways to start a life together, each part carrying it’s own significance. Back at the hotel, they had a stunning setup, a fabulous band, lots of wonderful words spoken and celebrated in a classy, dinner-party-esque, sort of way. It was the perfect night!
Cheers to the newlyweds and here’s to many happy years together and plenty more dinner parties!
