Katie + Chris
I was recently back in New York City for a fabulous Brooklyn engagement shoot! Being totally honest, I was a bit nervous going in, first off because Katie also photographs weddings (ah! cool, but also scary!), the NYC marathon was going on and ALL of the roads that go to their apartment were shut down, so after going in circles for 20 minutes in my uber ride, I braved the rain, hopped out of the car and walked .7 of a mile to their apt. I was a bit wet and a few minutes LATE (which, if you know me, never ever EVER happens!), but thankfully we had planned for an extra long engagement shoot, both inside their cute Brooklyn apartment (look closely, their cute pet ferret made her modeling debut!) and out around town, so things worked out great and when we ventured outside the rain had stopped and their was beautiful moody fog over the city; there's not much more a photographer could ask for!
