Kara and Alli's Brown's Revolution Hall Winter Wedding
This Brown’s Revolution Hall wedding was perfection from start to finish! We began the day with a first look at Lucas Confectionary, thankfully beating the chilly temps, and having an amazing indoor spot that is always a favorite! We then ventured to Brown’s Revolution Hall for some portraits and as crazy luck would have it, the sun was shining and we were able to capture the style of photos that Kara and Alli had been dreaming of! Their ceremony was done by a Reverend that Alli knew all her life and during the ceremony they shared the supreme court’s decision granting marriage rights to same sex couples. A moment that was true to them, that spoke to many, and that celebrated a right of equality being shared for many many people. It was MAGICAL to say the very least! The followed it up with a fabulous party and of course a few photos with their beloved pooch, Betty! A big congrats to these two, wishing them many more celebrations together!
How they met, by Alli: We had our first date at The Shop in Troy after meeting on a dating app, which we were both uncharacteristically nervous for. A few drinks turned into a date that lasted nearly 48 hours, and we both knew that we were starting to fall for one another. A mid-winter trip to Provincetown, MA filled with snow and seafood confirmed it, and standard lesbian fashion, we moved in together quite quickly (and, of course, rescued our beloved Schnoodle, Betty). We both proposed in the summer of 2018 and the rest is history!
