How the met, by Jacob: Jenna and I met in 2009 at SUNY Albany while we were in college. We dated for about 6 months and broke up, I was just finishing school and she was just starting. For the next eight years we would keep in touch occasionally visiting one another and updating each other on our lives. We were continually testing the waters to see when could be the right time to get back together. Then in 2017 after what seemed like a lifetime of back and forth we reconnected and knew our time had finally come. We started officially dating April 2nd and tried long distance for about a year. We knew if we could make it through the difficulty of distance that we would be fine and we savored our short weekends together.

In fall of 2018 we moved in together and encountered many of the same issues as everyone else living with their significant other. We learned and are still learning how important patience and communication are and were careful not to forget our love for each other. In fact we got engaged after a fight. What it was about I can't remember but after it I thought how little it mattered in the grand scheme of things. We loved each other and we would be just fine. After the engagement we picked our wedding date and started dreaming about what our perfect wedding would be like. On October 26th 2019 we had it, great weather, great people, great music and food.
