This Lake Placid Lodge elopement came together in just a few short weeks! This couple traveled all the way from TN to find some snow to share their vows near. It was a bit worrysome as the weather in Lake Placid was shockingly warm and was threatening to melt the snow, but thankfully mother nature knew what we were looking for and the snow stayed put! Kate wore a vintage dress, veil and her mom's wedding day coat. Is there anything more perfect? Knowing you're fully enveloped in an item that someone else wore on their wedding day. There has to be so much luck and love all wrapped up in that, which I know these two will take into the future with them. Their officiant and I departed and I asked her, 'Are you ever sad leaving an elopment knowing you'll likely never see a couple again?'. If nothing else, that tells you how lovely these two were and I do hope that one day our paths cross again! In the meantime, I offer them all the well-wishes for an amazing marriage and so many more happy years together!
