Vero + Mike
This Lucas Confectionery wedding in Troy, New York was absolutely perfect! Vero and Mike met at a music festival and her being from Canada and him from New York, much travel ensued as their relationship grew! They quickly became close and decided on an intimate wedding in my most favorite place (if you didn't already know this, I'd move right into Lucas Confectionery and live there if I could!) with only their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful, unplugged ceremony. Not a single guest had a phone or camera in their hands and it was wonderful to see the range of emotions their guests experienced when they allowed themselves to be truly attentive for the ceremony and vows and not at all distracted by their phones. They kept the focus on their guests and led them into a beautiful cocktail hour filled with great wine and lots of laughter and ended with an amazing dinner party in The Garden. This wedding was a beautiful example of bringing everything that is important to you, from the people to the wine to having an unplugged ceremony, together, into one place, for the most perfect evening!
