A little Maples Estate wedding was in the cards for Kelly and Mike as they approach their 4th wedding anniversary. They decided that a winter vow renewal was ideal as they’d been married outside on a freezing cold day in March, so this was the perfect nod to that memory! They got ready together, had some VERY unique touches that were really fun and they wrote beautiful vows. It is rare that I get to hear vows written by a couple who has been married for a bit. They are so unique and very different than vows on a wedding day. They speak to the everyday trials and work that a marriage is and to the successes, joys and promises that still stand true. I was completely teary eyed behind the lens because being married myself, I could relate so much to many things that were said. Marriage is hard work, marriage is AMAZING and marriage is filled with headaches, fun and joy. Here’s to celebrating all of those moments, the tough ones and the easy ones and to taking the time to renew vows and celebrate all that your marriage is!
