Jacquelyn and Sean's Revolution Hall Wedding in Troy NY
Jackie and Sean's Revolution Hall wedding in Troy New York was filled with truly unique details. The day kicked off with Jackie opening a blue Tiffany box from Sean that had a silver elephant necklace inside to commemorate their planned honeymoon to Sri Lanka. Moments after, as Jackie was about to put her veil on, I mentioned never having felt a veil that felt like hers...that is when she said "Oh! I forgot to tell you! It's from the 1920's. It was Sean's great grandmothers. She wore it, his grandma wore it, his mom wore it, his sister and sister-in-law, and now me." BE STILL MY HEART! The most beautiful veil I've ever seen was worn by not one, but six women on their wedding days, how absolutely perfect is that?! We then hit up a cute ally in downtown Troy for their first look and Sean's reaction did not disappoint! (wait until you see!)! We then ventured back to the venue for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and portraits. Jackie new I was a bit nervous about the toasts running long at the start of the reception and compromising our planned sunset portraits, but THE BEST THING about easygoing couples is that she (and Sean) were game to be flexible, which always saves the day and makes for absolutely amazing photo opportunities! As soon as the toasts wrapped up we were headed for portraits and the sun did NOT disappoint - I'm so thankful we were able to be sure everything happened and in perfect order because those sunset portraits are ones for the ages! A huge congrats to this amazing couple, it was wonderful to meet you and I'm lucky to have been able to capture your memories!
