This Windrift Hall wedding between Alison and Ben was a 3rd time is the charm, situation! After planning two other weddings, in different locations, on different dates and Covid running amuck, they landed, with a lot of help from Nancy, the brides mom, with a perfectly planned, intimate wedding nestled in the Hudson Valley. It was a dream of a day with perfect weather and lots of attention to detail. A special Ketubah signing, a beautifully decorated Huppah, and a palpable connection between Ali and Ben made their ceremony one for the books! They then celebrated with pizza, cake, ice cream and one very unique thing, in hundreds of weddings, I’d not yet seen. Not loving the idea of a bustle, the brides mom and sister helped cut the train off of Ali’s dress. Yup. Cut! As scary as that sounds, it looked amazing, so if you need a tip, take it from this bunch and just cut that train right off! Cheers to the newlyweds!
